Titles, descriptions, and social cards.
When SEO fields appear
On types with Supports SEO enabled, the entry editor shows an SEO panel. Pages also include SEO fields.
Per-entry SEO fields
| Field | Purpose |
|---|---|
| SEO title | <title> tag and search result headline |
| SEO description | Meta description snippet |
| Open Graph title/image | Facebook, LinkedIn link previews |
| Twitter card fields | Twitter/X link previews |
| noindex | Exclude from search engine indexing |
Fallbacks
If SEO title is blank, the entry title is used. If description is blank, excerpt, summary, or plain text from body fields may serve as fallback depending on theme and SEO service configuration.
Social sharing
- Fill Open Graph title and description—or leave blank to inherit SEO fields.
- Set Open Graph image or rely on featured image.
- Preview with Facebook Sharing Debugger or similar tools after publish.
noindex use cases
- Thank-you and confirmation pages
- Duplicate or thin content you do not want indexed
- Staging content accidentally on a public URL
Editor checklist before publish
- SEO title under 60 characters when possible
- Description 120–160 characters, unique per page
- Featured image set for rich social cards
- Slug readable and stable
Troubleshooting
- Wrong image on social — Clear platform cache; set explicit OG image.
- Duplicate titles — Customize SEO title per entry.
